Last night, Graham Norton took over BBC Three for the whole night in what was the biggest chat show ever. Lasting into the early hours of the morning, Graham set the Guinness World Record for ‘Most Questions Asked on a TV Chat Show’ and thanks to his uber generous viewers raised more than a million pounds for Comic Relief too.
‘Comic Relief’s Big Chat with Graham Norton’ saw Graham joined by a variety of guests in the studio, including: Ronnie Corbett; Sarah Millican; Martin Freeman; Jimmy Carr; Lee Mack; Keith Lemon; James Nesbitt; Paddy McGuinness; Louis Smith; Aston from JLS, Got To Dance Judges Ashley Banjo and Kimberley Wyatt; Warwick Davis; Alex Jones & Steve Jones; Russell Tovey and Kirstie Allsopp.
There were also special musical performances from acts including Example, Paloma Faith, Hurts and Laura Mvula.
In order to cope with the galaxy of stars in the studio, Graham was assisted throughout the evening by a number of co-hosts; from chat show veterans Sir Terry Wogan and Frank Skinner to BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show presenter Nick Grimshaw, to name but a few.
Highlights of Graham Norton’s Big Chat can be seen tonight on BBC One at 10.35pm.
