It was the year Sport Relief saw Del Boy and Rodney reunite with help from David Beckham, Kylie and Jason sang “Especially for You” for one night only and an almighty £71.8million raised to help those that need it most.
Now the nation can relive all those moments and more in Comic Relief’s special programme, looking back at Sport Relief’s 2014 campaign.
In a special festive show hosted by Gary Lineker and featuring stars from Strictly Come Dancing, comedians John Bishop and Patrick Kielty and Radio 1's Greg James – Sport Relief: The Final Score features the best bits from the whole of the campaign.
Viewers will also be able to relive the highlights from Davina McCall’s phenomenal “run, swim, cycle” challenge which started in Edinburgh and ended in London over the course of seven gruelling days.
And in this look back she visits several projects, funded by Comic Relief, to see where all the money raised has been spent both in the UK and internationally.
BBC One Show presenter Alex Jones also describes how Sport Relief donations have supported the work of the Disasters Emergency Committee after Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines in 2013.
During Sport Relief 2014 more than one thousand events took place all over the UK and £71,820,731 was raised between the 21st and 23rd March.
Don’t forget to tune in! Sport Relief: The Final Score is on BBC One on Saturday 27th December at 2:10pm and is repeated on Monday 29th December at 11:35pm.
