Comedian, actor and Comic Relief colossus Lenny Henry has been presented with a much-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award at the eighth Observer Ethical Awards.
Our Len was awarded the specially designed trophy in recognition of his outstanding commitment to Comic Relief since its launch in 1985.
Judged by a panel of environmental-minded organizations, musicians, presenters, sports personalities and writers- including Ben Fogel, Lily Cole, Livia Firth and VV Brown- Lenny took his place amongst some outstanding winners acknowledged for their ethical achievement and ambition.
During the star-studded event, awards were presented to actress Joanna Lumley, Pakistani school girl Malala Yousafarzaias as well as to international and local projects and initiatives.
Well done Lenny, we salute you!
