Over the last 40 years, together with your support we’ve been empowering women to improve their lives and create a lasting change in their communities. And our long-time partner, mothers2mothers (m2m), is doing just that in the most incredible way; transforming the health and well-being of women, their families and generations to come across Africa.
Meet the Superwomen of mothers2mothers
Since 2001, m2m has been on a mission to ensure every mother and child thrives. Their secret? Employing and training women living with HIV as “Mentor Mothers”; frontline health heroes who provide essential healthcare support to women and families directly in local communities across ten African countries. These incredible women deliver life-changing health services and education, reduce mother-to-child transmission of HIV, and offer support with a level of empathy and understanding only they can provide.
