The nation has spoken - Charlie Baker and James Thornton are this year's Let's Dance For Comic Relief champions.
With a performance of skill and not a little grace, the comedian and Emmerdale star tapped out a dapper rendition of 'Puttin' on the Ritz' and stole the voting viewers' hearts in the process.
Given that past winners Rufus Hound and Robert Webb triumphed whist wearing a frock, Russell 'Crazy in Love' Kane's extraordinary Beyonce number taking second place only served to reinforce the British public's fondness for watching a man in drag on a Saturday teatime.
Tonight's grand final didn't disappoint on any level with the rest of the line up, Katy Price, Noel Fielding, Adrian Edmondson and the 80s Super Group all serving up performances that will live long in the memory for all sorts of reasons.
The evening's panel of judges Louie Spence, Miranda Hart and former winner Rufus, were left almost speechless at times at the performances unfolding before them, as in true Let's Dance tradition the contestants pulled out all the stops in their search for perfection.
Without doubt though the biggest cheer of the night came when hosts Steve Jones and Alex Jones revealed that Let's Dance viewers had helped to raise more than a million pounds for Comic Relief.
