Together with BBC One, Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need joined forces for the first time to present The Big Night In; an evening of entertainment like no other, raising money to help support people who really need it through these extraordinary times.
How will your money help?
The money raised through The Big Night In will be split between Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need and will go on to support a variety of charities and projects in the UK, so they can continue to provide vital frontline support to people who need it most through this crisis.
There is more demand than ever for support from charities and community organisations. This includes making sure people are safe from harm, mentally healthy and with access to food, warmth and shelter; as well as helping people stay connected, active and positive through these extraordinary times.
Together, Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need are working collaboratively with some national charities with specialist expertise and reach who can give support to people through their community networks, as well as directly with local grassroots organisations, to ensure the money raised reaches people who are in most need.
