Africa Educational Trust
Years of conflict have robbed many people in Somaliland of an education and only 23% of the population can read and write. This project supports disadvantaged groups such as women and girls, people with disabilities, pastoralists and those displaced by war to become literate. This helps them become more confident in playing an active role in their communities and in finding sustainable ways to make a living. This project operates in two countries, with a spend of £348,437.50 in each location.
