TD Waterhouse

This year’s Sport Relief has proved to be the biggest and best so far for TD Waterhouse. To kick-start our fundraising employees collectively walked, jogged and ran 900 miles – with some individuals even walking from our Manchester office to our Leeds headquarters all to raise money, and on the day itself employees across the UK and in Luxembourg took part in a Wii Ski jump challenge, a penalty shoot out, sports fancy dress, a sponsored golf day, cake sales and a grand prize raffle.

As a result, we have raised almost £20,000, including £-for-£ matching by the company, which is a great achievement and we are all extremely proud.

In the evening, employees from our Manchester, Birmingham, London and Luxembourg offices joined colleagues in Leeds to man the phones. Over 240 people volunteered, taking more than 3,000 calls and an amazing £92,000 in pledges donations from the public! Not only that, TD Waterhouse contributed £1235 to the total raised by purchasing Sport Relief t-shirts for those manning the phones on the night.

The day and night’s activities really proved to be a successful and fun day for all.
