Guys and Gals go Mad in Bristol!
The fundraising started bright and early with everyone paying to work in casual clothes and by 10am we were getting into the swing of things with cakes being sold and raffles being run.
The salon started in the morning with haircuts, waxing and manicures on offer. The guys took full advantage of the waxing and even went to the extreme of selling strips to anyone who wanted a go! Ouch!
The fundraising continued long into the evening with auctions, competitions and fabulous prizes on offer that got everyone digging deep.
A visit from a couple of Bristol rugby players got the girls hot under the collar and again the money came out for photos and autographs as a memento of the night.
7pm saw the phone lines open and the hard work begin. A total of £136,214 was and £1,650 was raised within the contact centre. A memorable night and a fantastic fun day was had by all. Roll on Red Nose Day 2009!
