A red hair-raising event!
Over a 100 Newham Council staff and Newham Volunteers gave up their Friday evening to help take donations for Comic Relief.
Everyone pulled together to ensure we answered as many telephone donations as possible. Customer Services had a fun day to raise as much money as possible by Dyeing hair, having a chest wax, an auction site and a raffle! All in all, we collected a staggering £920.00.
All volunteers had an amazing evening, and said they can’t wait to do it again in the future.
We are very proud to help Comic Relief and look forward to supporting them again next time!
