Ring, Ring, Ring and Bling, Bling, Bling
Volunteers from M&G Investments took 3,160 calls and over £99,000 in donations for Comic Relief when they transformed their Chelmsford Call Centre into a donations hotline for Red Nose Day.
Deborah Carter, M&G’s Customer Relations Director, commented:
“We are delighted with the amount we took which will make a difference to the lives of thousands. Employees also got into the spirit of things and raised money by dressing up in the ‘red and bling’ theme, wearing red noses and giant ears, baking cakes and entering competitions. Several local businesses also very kindly donated prizes to assist with the fundraising. BBC Radio Essex and The Mayor of Chelmsford, Councillor Margaret Hutchon, visited us during the day to lend their support.”
