Billy Monger is an IRONMAN!

On 26 October 2024, after twelve months of intensive training and relentless preparation, Billy Monger took on the world’s most iconic one day endurance challenge in Kona, Hawai’i, all to raise money for life-changing Comic Relief-funded projects.

Facing jellyfish stings, strong crosswinds, intense humidity and torrential rain, Billy had to dig deeper than ever to cross the finish line, drawing on those long months of training and his deep-rooted desire to impact the lives of those facing the toughest times.

Throughout this journey, Billy has been motivated by his visits to Comic Relief-funded projects, where he’s seen for himself the amazing work your donations make possible, as well as the critical need for these projects right here in the UK.

The behind-the-scenes story of Billy’s epic journey to Kona and the final race itself, will all be revealed in the Comic Relief BBC documentary airing in March 2025 – don’t miss it!

In the meantime, keep donating to Billy’s epic challenge.
