Last October, after twelve months of intensive training and relentless preparation, Billy Monger took on the world’s most iconic one day endurance challenge in Kona, Hawai’i, all to raise money for life-changing Comic Relief-funded projects.

Billy’s IRONMAN challenge saw him pushed to his absolute limits on a journey filled with doubt, uncertainty, risk and absolute determination.

The incredible behind-the-scenes story of Billy’s road to Kona, the iconic race itself and the motivations which kept him going, will be told in an exclusive behind the scenes documentary coming to BBC One in March 2025

But whilst Billy’s race is over, the daily challenges faced by so many people across the UK and around the world continue.

Throughout his IRONMAN journey, Billy has been motivated by his visits to Comic Relief-funded projects, where he’s seen the reality of those struggles for himself, the critical support these projects provide and the essential work your donations make possible.

Please give whatever you can this Red Nose Day: your donation is more than just support; it's a beacon of hope for people in the UK and around the world. Your donation towards Billy's challenge will support incredible projects which help children to be happier, families stronger, women safer, communities prouder, and millions of lives fairer.
