Trustees
The board of Trustees is the main policy-making body of Comic Relief who have the power to take strategic and management decisions relating to the company in the same way as the Board of Directors of a commercial company (but with the additional responsibilities of charity trustees). The board meets 8 times a year.
The Trustees are responsible for distributing the grants funds of Comic Relief. This is done with the assistance of expert committees (UK and International Grants Committees). Through these committees and the executive, the Trustees are in a position to take informed decisions on grant making.
